Florida Flutter-Byes
I have been spending downtime editing photographs that should have been edited, uploaded, and filed years ago. This series of Florida butterflies (and one moth) is from that effort.
These were taken in southern Florida several years ago. I’ve seen the Zebra Longwing in southern Georgia as well, including the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.
Here’s the Bella Moth, also called the Ornate Moth, also seen in both locales.
I haven’t seen the Julia Longwing or the White Peacock in Georgia, though, but that’s not to say they don’t occur here.
Of course, the Common Buckeye is, well, common everywhere!
